The HISTORIC PROTECTION SOCIETY TASMANIA Inc. was established for the purpose of promoting and ensuring the preservation and maintenance for the public benefit, of places and objects of beauty or having an historical, scientific, artistic or architectural interest; knowledge of, interest in, and respect for those places and objects; and the provision and maintenance of activities and services to facilitate their enjoyment by the public.
